Rektville
Rektville — echoes of the past... parts of the once Majestic City.
It was originally an ironic degen mint from our community that mocked NFT, the crypto industry in general, and numerous rug pulls and scams. After its launch, holders staked about 2000 NFTs for a week with a reward of 0.01 SOL per day, thus returning their investment.
Later the collection was handed over to the founder of the community — crypto_demiurg, and some members of the community decided to add some utilities to the project.
As a result, it was decided to build a community project out of Rektville. Since the idea of Rektville was not originally intended, and the name and art could be described as strange or even ugly, it was decided to use Rektville as a whitelist with a guaranteed Dust City mint.
On October 24, 2022, the snapshot took place, and Rektville holders received one WL1 token for every 3 Rektville NFTs that were in their wallets. The collection later received its own staking pool and became part of the project’s ecosystem.
